RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you play a central role in the Social Services Administration, responsible for coordinating, developing, and ensuring the quality of the administration's work within purchasing and contracts. You are the administration's specialist in this area and work closely with managers, buyers, and employees to create conditions for commercial, efficient, and cost-conscious purchasing.
You are responsible for developing routines, working methods, and processes, as well as ensuring that purchasing is carried out in accordance with legislation, contracts, and internal guidelines. The assignment also includes contract management, where you monitor contracts, supplier performance, and compliance to ensure that concluded contracts are used correctly and create value for the operations.
You support and coordinate the administration's purchasers by spreading knowledge, providing advice, and conducting training initiatives in the field.
You are independently responsible for the Social Services Administration's direct procurements and drive the process from needs analysis and requirement setting to implementation, documentation, contract signing, and follow-up. You ensure that procurements are carried out in accordance with current legislation and internal regulatory documents, and that they are followed up and documented correctly. Klippan Municipality is part of a joint procurement organization where you are the link between the administration and the procurement unit. You coordinate the administration's needs, contribute knowledge, and ensure that the administration's perspective is taken into account throughout the procurement process.
Main Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing support, coordinating, developing, and ensuring the quality of the administration's work within purchasing, contracts, and procurement.
- Conduct direct procurements and renewed competitive tenders.
- Participate in procurements carried out by the joint procurement unit.
- Follow up on contracts, suppliers, and contract compliance.
- Identify areas for development, develop routines and processes for an efficient and uniform working method.
- Coordinate the administration's purchasers and plan and conduct training initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement functions, and suppliers to create structure, quality, and development within the purchasing area.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- We are looking for you who have a university education in procurement, strategic purchasing, economics, law, or another area that the employer deems relevant. Alternatively, you have other education or experience that is considered equivalent.
- You have good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and an understanding of purchasing and procurement processes. We would like you to have experience working with purchasing, procurement, contracts, or economic-related issues. Experience from municipal or other public operations is meritorious.
- You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good administrative and digital competence.
Who are you?
- To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be a person who appreciates order, structure, and long-term perspective. You have an analytical working style and can switch between seeing details and understanding the big picture.
- You are communicative and pedagogical and have an easy time conveying knowledge in a clear and trustworthy manner. The role requires good cooperation skills and a service-oriented approach, but also the ability to be clear and consistent in matters concerning regulations, contracts, and internal guidelines. You feel confident in both supporting, guiding, and following up to ensure a correct and uniform working method in the operations.
- We also believe that you are initiative-taking and development-oriented. You see opportunities for improvement, take responsibility for driving issues forward, and have the ability to turn ideas into practical solutions. At the same time, you are unpretentious, receptive, and flexible in your collaboration with others.
