About the School of Land Combat (MSS)

The School of Land Combat (MSS) works together with other parts of the army to create the conditions for land combat units to solve their assigned tasks in the best possible way, both nationally and internationally. MSS also handles tasks for the entire Swedish Armed Forces, such as the development and procurement of soldier-borne equipment, small arms, and support weapons. Within this framework, the School of Land Combat educates the Swedish Armed Forces' future specialist officers.

About the Position

The main task of this position is to lead officers and cadets during the Basic Specialist Officer Education (SOU).

Qualifications:

• SO7/OF1
• Experience from platoon leadership (commander/deputy)

Meritorious

• Served in mechanized/motorized/light infantry companies
• Foreign service experience
• Pedagogical education
• FUSA training

Personal Qualities

Your personal qualities should be characterized by good leadership and a developed pedagogical aptitude. You are outgoing and eager to work.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

The School of Land Combat is an army-wide school for the development, education, and training of the army's combat units. The School of Land Combat educates officers and specialist officers, plans and conducts exercises, and trains combat units in advanced combat training facilities.

In close cooperation with the Army Staff and other units, the School of Land Combat develops standard units, capabilities, methods, and materiel. Within the framework of the Swedish Armed Forces' growth, the School of Land Combat plays an important role in the ongoing modernization of the army.
