About the workplace

The 32nd Garrison Battalion is a support function within the Helicopter Wing and part of the wartime unit 3rd Air Wing. The battalion includes functions for logistics, healthcare, and education, with its main operational site in Linköping. The battalion consists largely of civilian employees and handles tasks across the entire spectrum of conflict.

The 32nd Garrison Battalion is a workplace in development, where new functions, units, and tasks are added over time.

Main responsibilities

As the Deputy Battalion Commander at the 32nd Garrison Battalion, you are the battalion's closest colleague and take responsibility for economics, development issues, and certain processes. You also represent the battalion in various working groups, both within the unit and within the Swedish Armed Forces, and are expected to represent the battalion at various meetings and official occasions.

Qualifications

• Professional Officer Education (OF2-OF3)
• Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
• Category B driver's license

Meritorious

• Good experience in staff processes and experience from national staff service at the central level
• Other experience of staff work
• Good leadership qualities
• Experience in one or more of the areas: logistics, healthcare, or conscript education

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is outgoing with a documented good ability to collaborate. You also have a documented, well-evaluated service in a leadership position.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
