Blomsterfonden – For a safer and richer life for the elderly

Blomsterfonden is a non-profit association working to ensure that elderly people have a safe home, professional care, and a meaningful daily life.

We operate five senior housing facilities with vibrant social community, our own home care service, and four elderly care homes where secure care is the focus. Our goal is to give older people a richer life – filled with community, care, and joy of life. Our work is guided by our ethical values: humanity, participation, clarity, and honesty.

The association was founded in 1921 by Alma Hedin. Under her leadership, a special spirit emerged – the "Blomsterfonden spirit" – which still characterizes our operations today. We continue Alma's legacy by safeguarding what is at the core of every human life: seeing the individual's capacity, will, and emotional life.

Blomsterfonden also actively works to support relatives. We organize and participate in various forums to spread knowledge about the needs and living situations of the elderly.

Evening Staff for Home Care – Part-time as Needed

Do you want to make a difference in people's daily lives? We are now looking for dedicated and caring staff for evening work within home care.

About the position

As an evening staff member with us, you work with standard assistant nurse and care tasks within home care. The work involves providing our customers with support and help based on their individual needs, for example:

• Personal care
• Hygiene and dressing
• Meal support
• Social interaction and security-building measures
• Documentation according to current routines

Working hours are scheduled for evenings.

We are looking for you who

• Are trained as an assistant nurse or have experience working in healthcare and social care
• Are responsible, sensitive, and have a good attitude towards people
• Can work independently and make your own decisions
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

About the employment

The position is a needs-based/part-time employment with good opportunities for a permanent position for the right person.

A large part of our customers are women who feel most comfortable with female care staff for personal care. We therefore especially welcome female applicants, while we value competence, engagement, and personal suitability in all candidates.
