The Social Services Department is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and the Health and Medical Services Act, and are to implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by a person-centered approach to meet individual needs. The role involves a strong customer focus and a service-oriented mindset.

The joint personnel and scheduling supply consists of three units; Scheduling and Planning, Substitute and Recruitment, and Resource and Administration, which are responsible for providing support to most of the social services department.

Job Responsibilities

With us, within LSS and social psychiatry as well as Elderly Care, you will work to make a difference and help people in their daily lives.

Here you can work within special housing, home help services, service apartments, group homes, personal assistance, short-term stays for children and young people, day activities, relief services, and escort services. Where you can work depends on your competence and the needs of the operation.

You will support and help users/customers/tenants. Tasks that occur include household chores, cooking, personal care, verbal support, medication management, documentation, and social activities, etc.

We are looking for someone who can work on a rotating schedule during June, July, and August and who can work days, evenings, weekends, and/or nights. We preferably see that you can work all months.

At the interview, you need to be able to present a passport/national identity card (a driver's license is not a valid form of identification) and possibly a work permit.

A criminal record check may be required.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Want a fun and meaningful summer job with varied tasks
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish
• Are flexible and adaptable
• Are calm and confident in yourself
• Take initiative, take responsibility, and can follow a structure
• Can work on a rotating schedule between June and August

For us, it is important to have a good and respectful attitude both towards colleagues and users/customers/tenants.

We consider it an advantage if you have good computer skills and experience with documentation, can cycle, have a B driver's license, and access to a private car. As well as a relevant completed or ongoing education or previous experience.

We consider it an advantage if you can work a number of weeks on a rotating schedule.
