About the role
As a Project Controller, you have overall responsibility for financial monitoring and controlling of our larger customer projects, while also contributing to the further development of processes and ways of working. You work in a business-supporting function close to the management group, sales department, project organization, supply chain, procurement, and finance department. The role involves both supporting and challenging the operations to strengthen performance, profitability, and efficient use of ERP systems and other tools.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial controlling and monitoring of the company's larger customer projects.
• Further develop reporting tools, ERP support, and processes for efficient project management and financial monitoring.
• Establish and improve methodology for project controlling for larger Swedish projects.
• Support the project organization in financial monitoring and analysis throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Support in procurement-related issues and contribute to the monitoring of costs, supplier documentation, and procurement processes.
• Conduct post-project calculations and ensure monitoring of deviations together with responsible project managers.
• Participate in relevant meeting forums and contribute business support to the management group.
• Drive and follow up on reporting of project status, risks, forecasts, revenues, margins, and OPEX.

Your background

• University education in economics, business administration, or equivalent, at least at bachelor's level.
• Good financial understanding and at least five years of relevant experience in project management, project monitoring, or project controlling.
• Experience in controlling, financial analysis, and reporting in project operations.
• Very good IT skills, especially in working with large databases, Microsoft Excel, and similar tools.
• Good knowledge of English in speech and writing, as well as understanding of Scandinavian languages.
