About the role:

1. The Division Staff is now looking for a structured and engaged case worker within personnel administration. Our operations are growing, which places high demands on a functional and efficient workforce planning. In this role, you will work broadly with the staff's personnel administration, with a special focus on our reserve officers (RO) and personnel on temporary duty (GSS/T). You will belong to the Personnel Section/G1 and become a central support pillar for both managers and employees.

Main responsibilities:

The role combines personnel administration with specialist responsibility for personnel on temporary duty. Your main tasks include:

  • Handling general personnel administration such as registering employment, leave, terminations, and service documentation.
  • Administering salaries, allowances, subsistence allowances, and travel orders in the Swedish Armed Forces' HR system.
  • Planning, administering, and calling in personnel for refresher training, exercises, and operations.
  • Monitoring individuals' service plans and supporting the staff's managers in personnel and staffing matters.
  • Acting as the staff's central contact point for reserve officers and temporarily employed personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Completed upper secondary education with passing grades.
  • Current and documented experience in personnel administration, HR support, or payroll administration.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
  • Good computer skills and extensive experience with MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Category B driver's license (manual transmission).

Meritorious qualifications:

  • Experience working in the Swedish Armed Forces' business system PRIO (SAP).
  • Post-secondary education in HR, personnel science, or economics/administration.
  • Completed compulsory military service, basic military training, or previous civil/military employment within the Swedish Armed Forces.
  • Good knowledge of state collective agreements and the Swedish Armed Forces' personnel regulations.

Personal qualities:

We are looking for someone who is very structured, meticulous, and has a good ability to prioritize tasks even during periods of high workload. Since the role involves daily contact with both the staff and individual persons, you must have very good communication skills, high integrity, and be service-oriented. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment type: Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.
