About the Role

Do you want to drive development that makes a real difference – both for the organization and for our residents? As a Business Developer, you will lead change initiatives, manage key projects, and develop efficient working methods.

You will be employed by the Municipal Executive Board Administration and belong to a work group focused on growth, HR, and development. Responsibilities

The role of Business Developer involves a central position in the municipality's strategic development work. You will drive development issues and prepare well-founded decision materials for the municipal leadership. By mapping, analyzing, and optimizing our processes, you will create more efficient working methods and an operation better adapted to the needs of residents.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate municipality-wide projects and initiatives, contributing to development efforts that strengthen the municipality's attractiveness and growth. You will function as both a project manager and a change leader in the municipality's development initiatives.

Digitalization is a key part of the assignment. You will implement new working methods, routines, and digital tools that improve accessibility, quality, and efficiency for both employees and residents. You will conduct analyses and investigations that form the basis for political decisions, weighing current situations and future needs with a focus on long-term sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a university degree in public administration or another higher education qualification that the employer deems relevant. We would prefer that you have completed some training in project management. In your previous work, you have experience with both business development and process management. Experience working in a politically governed organization or project management is considered an advantage.

Your personal qualities are important to us. As a person, you are driven, strategic, and possess strong analytical skills. You work in a process-oriented manner, have good collaboration skills, and thrive working with others to achieve common goals. It is a prerequisite for the role that you are communicative and can communicate in very good Swedish, both orally and in writing. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for this position.

Availability for Questions

The hiring manager is on vacation from July 9–26 and August 3–9.
