We are looking for a confident accounting manager with experience in quickly adapting to new environments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to independently manage the accounting for two companies and maintain extensive contact in an international work environment.

About the position

As the regular accounting manager is moving on within a few months, our client is seeking a consultant who can take over the work by August at the latest. The goal is to ensure a smooth handover. You will work as an employed consultant or as a sub-contractor via SJR. The position is full-time and initially for a period of 6 months.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the overall process and perform parts of the accounting for two Swedish companies in an international context. While ongoing tasks are handled by a Shared Service Center, your main responsibilities include tax, VAT, monthly and annual financial statements, reporting in consolidation systems, coordinating the annual report, and general control of the accounting. You will serve as the contact person for accounting matters and handle various ad hoc tasks. The role requires good communication skills in both Swedish and English, as you will have many internal and external contacts.

Qualifications

With a university degree or equivalent in economics, you have several years of experience in qualified and operational accounting work, including tax, VAT, monthly and annual financial statements. You have good experience from international environments, are accustomed to reporting to the group, and are part of a complex matrix organization. You are confident in communication in both Swedish and English. Experience with reporting systems is required, with knowledge of Oracle being an advantage.
