About the job

The position is located at the Section for Revenue Collection (Sektion Ekonomi Uppbörd), which is part of the Vehicle Information department. Our section is responsible for processing taxes and fees for both external and internal stakeholders and is primarily based in Örebro.

We are a dedicated team working closely together on a variety of tasks that must be performed with precision and within the correct timeframe. It is stimulating, interesting and exciting work with opportunities for development.

The section is facing a system change, which means developing new routines and ways of working while continuing to deliver without interruption. This is an exciting and enjoyable challenge. During this transition, we work closely with other units and sections within the department.

You will

  • manage case handling together with colleagues, with responsibility for certain queues
  • work with scheduled runs related to taxes and fees
  • report on payments
  • handle rejected payments
  • have customer contact
  • collaborate both internally and externally, primarily with other authorities
  • account for incoming and outgoing payments.

You must have

  • a completed upper secondary education in economics or other education combined with relevant experience in economics
  • current experience of handling customer contacts in a professional and service-oriented manner via both telephone and email
  • current experience of working in administrative systems, e.g., UBW or similar
  • current experience of working with large case flows
  • current work experience in the economic field, such as economic assistant or economic case officer
  • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you also have

  • experience of contacting journalists
  • been involved in change and development work
  • experience of case processing within the tax area.

More information

The employment is permanent with placement in Örebro. Appointment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary period. There is an opportunity for remote work based on the needs of the business, up to 3 days. A position with us may involve placement in a security class. A security investigation with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our security-classed tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
