About the role

Alm Psykiatri is currently looking for more Psychological Assistants to join our team. The responsibilities include conducting new patient visits, basic anamneses, and care planning visits, as well as participating in various stages of psychological assessments. We work with an efficient and highly structured care process that creates space for individually adapted care.

About Alm Psykiatri

Alm Psykiatri operates within adult psychiatric outpatient care, offering broad competence and a mix of psychotherapeutic methods. The company was established in 2018 and has been running an adult psychiatric outpatient clinic in Halmstad on behalf of Region Halland since 2022.

Our physical clinic is located in central Halmstad, where we work with a naturally integrated physical and digital care model. As a private healthcare provider, our work is characterized by freedom and flexibility, both internally and in our interactions with patients. The majority of our clinical work consists of assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric diagnoses, depression, and bipolar disorder. Patients with substance abuse issues are not part of the clinic's scope.

The care processes at Alm Psykiatri are clearly structured and based on national guidelines for each diagnosis. In clinical work, guidelines ensure patient safety while creating room for individually adapted care. We actively and continuously work on recruiting and developing our working methods to prevent staffing shortages and associated risks.

Our team consists of doctors, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, contact persons, physiotherapists, and care administrators. We work systematically to create a sustainable and pleasant working life for all employees. Our organization is characterized by minimal administration, few meetings, clear routines, and predictability, where employees plan their work under their own responsibility. The number of patient visits is always defined in advance, providing good opportunities to plan working hours, vacation, and other leave in a way that suits your personal life situation.

As an employee, you have access to offices and the technical systems needed for your work. Employees at Alm Psykiatri are not subject to restrictions on side jobs, beyond our basic ethical guidelines.

We strive for a functional balance between digital and physical care meetings, based on the needs of the patient group. Therefore, there are good opportunities to work part of the time remotely.

The work is generally scheduled during daytime on weekdays, but you can choose to schedule part of your work for evenings and weekends if desired.
