Margarethahemmet Health Centre is a lovely, well-established practice in Knivsta with approximately 7,800 registered patients. It is beautifully situated in a turn-of-the-century environment right next to Lake Valloxen. We are now looking for a General Practitioner (Specialist in General Practice) to join our friendly team.

About the Workplace

We offer a wide range of healthcare services and work with continuity, quality, and job satisfaction in mind. Team collaboration is strong here, and we always put the patient first. Currently, the health centre employs a GP specialist, ST-doctors (residents), district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, a social worker, a dietitian, a medical secretary, and a receptionist.

In late 2025, we opened our new Child Health Centre (BVC) branch in Alsike. The goal is to be closer to the families in Alsike and offer secure, personal, and knowledgeable child healthcare.

Responsibilities

Standard duties for a GP specialist at a health centre.

You will have scheduled appointments with booked patients, as well as handling acute cases, chat consultations, and digital visits. For those who enjoy supervising AT (Internship) and ST (Specialization) doctors, there are excellent opportunities to do so. As a GP specialist, your work will be tailored as much as possible to your interests and experience. We value close collaboration between different professional groups and expect you to become an active part of this work.

Qualifications

You are a specialist in General Practice with the license to practice in Swedish healthcare.

Fluent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

You have a good ability to listen, are meticulous, can work independently, and enjoy close collaboration with everyone in the team to provide the best care for patients.
