VårdIX Staffing is now looking for a certified occupational therapist for an exciting consulting assignment in Uppsala Municipality.

Do you want to work in a varied role where you have the opportunity to make a difference in people's independence and quality of life? We are now looking for an engaged occupational therapist for a longer-term assignment within municipal healthcare, located at Nora/Linné.

About the Assignment

As a consultant, you will perform standard duties as an occupational therapist within municipal healthcare. The work involves assessment, planning, implementation, and follow-up of rehabilitation measures for patients in special housing and ordinary housing.

The role includes, among other things:

• Conducting activity and function assessments.
• Planning and following up on rehabilitation measures.
• Prescribing, testing, and following up on assistive devices.
• Mentoring and advising care staff.
• Documenting according to current laws and guidelines.
• Collaborating with nurses, physiotherapists, doctors, nursing assistants, and other professions to create safe and person-centered care.

The assignment offers varied work where you will work both independently and in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

About the Operations

The location is primarily within Nora/Linné in Uppsala Municipality.

The operations cover rehabilitation for individuals with long-term rehabilitation needs in both ordinary housing and special housing forms. You will work to strengthen the individual's independence, activity capacity, and participation in daily life through person-centered rehabilitation measures.

Assignment Details

• Location: Uppsala
• Operations: Nora/Linné
• Assignment Period: 2026-08-13 – 2026-11-30
• Scope: 90–100 %
• Working Hours: Daytime, mainly between 07:00–16:00
• Extension Possibility: Yes, up to 12 months.

• Are a certified occupational therapist.

• Have a person-centered approach and a strong commitment to rehabilitation and patient safety.

Experience from municipal operations is meritorious but not a requirement.
