Do you want to help shape the future of electrified transport? We are now looking for a Purchasing Project Manager for an exciting assignment within Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV). In this role, you will hold a central position where you lead and monitor purchasing activities throughout the entire product development process.

The position is a consultancy assignment starting on August 17th and running until December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

About the Assignment

As a Purchasing Project Manager, you are responsible for leading and ensuring the purchasing work within the project. Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Ensuring sourcing takes place according to schedule.
  • Managing supplier budgets and monitoring costs.
  • Responsible for project planning and timelines.
  • Ensuring quality and managing risks.
  • Driving purchasing issues in cross-functional product development teams.

You will become an important part of a global network where close collaboration with stakeholders worldwide is crucial. The role also involves close cooperation with the purchasing organization to ensure that the purchasing perspective is integrated into development plans and product strategies.

During the industrialization phase, you work closely with functions such as R&D, Quality, and Production to ensure that the end customer receives world-class products.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to build trust and lead colleagues towards common goals. You have a structured approach to work as well as analytical and logical thinking. We see that you have very good communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams, as well as the ability to quickly handle challenges and make decisions. We see that you meet all the following requirements:

  • University degree in engineering, engineering science, or business administration.
  • 2–5 years of experience in purchasing and/or project management.
  • Experience from the automotive industry or in leading complex projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile product development methodology.
  • Experience in analyzing and presenting large data sets, for example in Power BI.

Meritorious

  • Experience with the client's systems, such as SPOT, KOLA, GPS, and IMT.
