Job Description

Do you want to work with ILS and contribute to the development and maintenance of defense-related systems with high demands on availability, operational safety, and long-term logistics support? AFRY is now looking for an ILS Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring ILS work within complex technical systems.

In your role as ILS Manager, you lead the work to ensure that systems and materiel are provided with purposeful and cost-effective logistics support throughout their lifecycle. The work is carried out in close collaboration with project management, product managers, system engineers, suppliers, and other relevant functions. You are responsible for ensuring that requirements for availability, operational safety, maintainability, and supply support are addressed throughout the materiel's lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and monitor ILS work within one or more projects.
  • Collaborate with product managers and project functions regarding logistics support, maintenance, and materiel tracking.
  • Ensure that ILS deliverables are developed and delivered in accordance with the Key Element List (KEL).
  • Conduct and monitor maintenance preparation based on ILS strategy, TTEM, maintenance plans, technical documentation, materiel data, and other governing system and requirement documents.
  • Analyze maintenance solutions regarding maintenance levels, intervals, spare parts, test equipment, technical information, and training needs.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, audits, project monitoring, and delivery controls.
  • Contribute to the handling of materiel and maintenance data in relevant support systems for materiel management and tracking.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Relevant academic education or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of experience working with ILS, maintenance systems, maintenance preparation, or lifecycle support.
  • Experience in project work with technically complex systems or materiel.
  • Experience delivering or monitoring ILS deliverables according to KEL.
  • Good understanding of maintenance preparation and maintenance planning at the materiel and system level.
  • Good knowledge of support systems for materiel management and tracking such as Teamcenter, TIA, and PRIO/LIFT.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

Merits

It is an advantage if you have experience working within the defense sector, FMV-related activities, or other security-sensitive environments.

Locations: Solna, Gothenburg, and Malmö.

Security Clearance & Education Verification

As we often work on security-classified assignments, this position may require security clearance and register control before employment. Swedish citizenship is required.

As a baseline for all employment at AFRY, an ID check, reference check, and education verification are always conducted.
