We are looking for a Senior IT Consultant for a part-time assignment (approx. 50%) with a government agency. The assignment involves one to two days per week on-site at the client's premises, combined with remote work as agreed. On-site presence is primarily desired Tuesday–Thursday.

Assignment Description

The client is seeking an experienced consultant who can contribute with both operational and strategic support within Microsoft 365. The role involves acting as a technical advisor, supporting IT technicians in their daily work, and participating in a larger integration project where another public agency will be incorporated into an existing IT environment. The focus is on email migration and configuration of Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute email migrations in Exchange.
• Support and lead IT technicians regarding planning, follow-up, and management of Microsoft 365.
• Configure and administer Microsoft 365 via admin portals.
• Execute technical migration activities, such as Microsoft Teams migration.
• Develop, document, and implement routines for lifecycle management of user accounts, information, and documentation.
• Contribute to the development of working methods and drive proactive work regarding Microsoft's cloud services and future developments.
• Prepare decision support materials and provide technical advice within M365.

Required Qualifications

• Documented experience of at least three implementations or technical deployments of Microsoft 365 in larger organizations.
• Deep technical competence in configuration and administration of Microsoft 365 and its constituent services.
• Experience in coordinating and leading smaller technical teams.
• Good ability to prepare decision support materials and technical documentation.
• Previous experience with email migrations.
