Do you have a genuine interest in mechanical design and want to work on developing the vehicles of the future?
We are now strengthening our team in Stockholm and are looking for experienced designers who wish to work on qualified assignments within the Automotive sector.
Here, you will have the opportunity to work through the entire development chain – from concept and prototypes to finished product and industrialization.
Our mechanical design team, based in Haninge, works on the development of components and systems within Automotive, focusing on areas such as powertrains, chassis, packaging, and installation. Our assignments are with some of the industry's leading players and cover both passenger cars and heavy vehicles.
In the role of Mechanical Designer, you work with design and product development in advanced customer projects, where you often become an integrated part of the customer's organization. You contribute with both technical expertise and drive in deliveries, working on everything from concept development and detailed design to the creation of 3D models and drawing documentation. The work is carried out in CAD tools such as CATIA V5, Creo, or similar, and you are involved throughout the entire development process, from idea and prototype creation to finished product and industrialization. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams within development, production, and purchasing, as well as responsibility for analysis, follow-up, and documentation of technical solutions. You also maintain an ongoing dialogue with both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and progress in the projects.
Profile Description
Your Responsibilities

Profile Requirements
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- A university degree in Mechanical, Vehicle Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent
- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical design
- Experience from the automotive industry, preferably in heavy vehicles
- Proficiency in CAD tools, e.g., CATIA V5/3DX, PTC Creo, Siemens NX, or similar
- Experience with product development processes
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in customer-facing roles or as a consultant
- Knowledge within HV, chassis, powertrains, installation, or complex systems
- Experience with PLM systems
- Leadership qualities or experience in technical responsibility
- Driver's license Class C/D
