Do you want to help develop the maintenance work of the future at Sweden's largest airport? We are now looking for an experienced Operations and Maintenance Planner for Water & Sanitation (VA) and Grounds for a consultancy assignment at Swedavia, Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

About the role

As an Operations and Maintenance Planner for VA/Grounds, you will become a key person in ensuring efficient and well-functioning maintenance operations at Arlanda. The assignment involves a dual focus where you are responsible for the daily planning and preparation of maintenance interventions, as well as driving the development and implementation of new working methods within maintenance planning.

You will work closely with technicians, the operations organization, and property management to create a long-term sustainable structure for maintenance work. The goal is to establish a standardized maintenance process and ensure that new working methods become a natural part of daily operations.

The assignment is carried out on behalf of Swedavia and is located at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. You will be employed as a consultant via Poolia, with a planned start date in August 2026. The assignment initially runs until January 2027.

Scope: Full-time, approx. 900 hours during the assignment period. Location: 100% on-site at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

Main responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for operational planning, preparation, and coordination of maintenance interventions within Grounds and VA.
• Prioritize and follow up on work orders, ensuring efficient resource planning.
• Develop and document a basic process for maintenance planning and preparation.
• Establish clear working methods for prioritization, planning horizons, and coordination between planning and execution.
• Ensure that new working methods are implemented and used in daily operations.
• Establish structure in the existing maintenance system.
• Monitor operations through analysis and KPIs.
• Collaborate with technicians, property managers, and the operations organization to create a joint and efficient working method.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in maintenance planning or technical maintenance and who thrive in a role where you can combine structure, analysis, and operational responsibility. You are accustomed to planning and preparing maintenance interventions and have a strong interest in developing working methods and creating order and long-term sustainability in operations.

You work methodically and solution-oriented, are good at prioritizing and creating structure, and are confident in coordinating various stakeholders towards common goals. You take initiative, work independently, and have good collaboration skills.

We would like you to have:

• Technical education, e.g., high school engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in maintenance planning or technical maintenance.
• Experience in planning and preparing maintenance interventions.
• Documented knowledge of maintenance methodology according to EN 13306.
• Experience working in UH systems, CMMS, or EAM.
• Experience with follow-up using KPIs and analysis.
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Very good computer skills.
• Class B driver's license.
• Competence in Grounds and/or VA.
• Experience from a coordinating or leading role.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in change and improvement work.
• Experience working in IFS.

Security clearance

Since the assignment is located within security-classified operations at Arlanda, approved security clearance with register check is required, as well as authorization for access to the airport's security areas. Security interview, drug test, and reference checks may be part of the process.
