Description

The employment involves, after an introductory training, being placed in a group or in the standby pool, where you will train in rescue services for 48 hours per year according to a specific schedule. Within a two-year period, you will undergo basic training for rescue service personnel on standby (GRIB).

It is important that your current employer writes a certificate stating their consent for you to participate in rescue services and that they allow you time off for training on occasional occasions.

Scope: Part-time employment.

Duration: Probation period of 6 months, followed by a permanent position.

Qualifications

Applicants must be employed and reside in the area to be able to report to the fire station within 5 minutes of an alarm. Swimming ability, as well as good health and physical fitness, are requirements. You will undergo a statutory health examination and a fitness test.

Conditions

Driver's License: Category B license is required; Category C license is an advantage.

Since the municipality's employees in the rescue service mainly consist of male employees, we particularly welcome female applicants.

Start Date: By agreement.

Salary: If placed in the standby pool, compensation for training and dispatches is paid according to the current agreement. Part-time compensation according to the RIB agreement.
