As a security guard at Avarn Security, you will have an exciting daily routine where your task is to strengthen our customers' sense of security and contribute to a safer environment. A security guard plays a central role in maintaining safety and security in various settings. The profession involves preventing and managing risks by monitoring premises, patrolling areas, and ensuring that security procedures are followed. Security guards often work in close contact with people and must be able to act calmly and professionally in both everyday situations and during incidents. The work can range from responding to alarms and access control to reporting deviations and collaborating with the police or other authorities. The role places high demands on responsibility, integrity, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

We are now recruiting staff for Systematic Fire Protection Work (SBA) and First Responder (FIP)

We are now looking for dedicated employees for one of Skellefteå's most exciting industrial assignments. Here you will work in a combined role responsible for both Systematic Fire Protection Work (SBA) and First Responder (FIP).

About the role

As a First Responder, you are the first resource on the scene in the event of accidents, fires, or other serious incidents. You create a rapid situational overview, lead the initial efforts, and carry out life-saving and damage-limiting measures until the fire brigade takes over responsibility.

At the same time, you work with systematic fire protection by:

• Planning and conducting SBA inspections
• Following up on fire protection organization and routines
• Conducting self-inspections and documentation
• Contributing to training and development of safety work
• Being an important part of the customer's preventive safety work

Working hours: Variable

Work location: Skellefteå

Duration: Full-time, part-time -/ Temporary based on need, 6-month probationary period applies

Start date: According to agreement

Salary: According to collective agreement

Meritorious is experience from, for example:

• Fire and Rescue Service
• Security or guarding industry
• Industry
• Ambulance or healthcare
• Military operations
• Work with fire protection or SBA

You also need to be crime-free*, drug-free, have a sound economy, as well as good health and physique to be employed at Avarn Security.

Security guard training is meritorious for these positions. Other meritorious qualifications are experience working in the guarding industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and you move forward in the process but do not already hold the prescribed education (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA Security Industry's Occupational and Environmental Committee. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.
