The IT Unit in Strömsund Municipality is now looking for a System Engineer specializing in Microsoft 365.

The IT Unit is responsible for delivering stable and modern IT services to all of the municipality's administrations, departments, and municipal companies. Here, eight engaged technicians work within areas such as system administration, networking, operations, and support – together we create the conditions for an efficient and secure digital work environment.

Responsibilities

As a System Engineer with us, you work both operationally and development-oriented with our Microsoft 365 environment. You help ensure a stable, secure, and modern digital workplace while driving improvements and developing new solutions.

You will become part of an engaged team where we collaborate closely and share knowledge to develop together.

You will also participate in projects with other operations within the municipality where your skills are needed, and where you work with both internal and external contacts.

In the role, you will among other things:

• administer, develop, and improve our services within Microsoft 365
• work with technical administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of the platform
• automate and streamline ways of working using PowerShell, Power Automate, and other tools
• participate in projects, implementations, and further development of new features and services
• collaborate with operations to create value, simplify daily life, and meet operational needs
• contribute to security, structure, and governance within Microsoft 365
• work together with the team on other on-premises and SaaS services included in the municipality's IT environment

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic education focused on IT or equivalent work experience working as a system engineer or in a similar technical role, and who have good practical experience in administration and development within Microsoft 365.

You thrive in a role where you get to combine operations, development, and improvement work, and want to be part of developing a modern digital workplace. You also have the ability to plan, execute, and document your work yourself.

We see that you have experience in several of the following areas. Certification in one or more of the areas is meritorious:

• SharePoint Online
• Microsoft Teams
• Microsoft Intune
• OneDrive
• Power Platform, e.g., Power Automate and Power Apps
• Microsoft Copilot
• Microsoft Purview
• PowerShell
• Windows Server
