Job Responsibilities
We are currently on an exciting journey in our Student Health Team (SHT) work, where we want to ensure high quality in the interventions we carry out for our students. This involves how we strategically and systematically work with student health and special pedagogical interventions to provide the right support at the right time.
Therefore, we want to expand the school's special pedagogical team with a special educator who works closely with the school's special pedagogist. As a special educator, your mission is to create the best possible conditions for learning through targeted interventions and extra support for our students. You will work with students individually, in small groups, or directly in the classroom. As part of this, we would appreciate it if you also worked at the group level and supervised colleagues in language, reading, and writing development work.
Your role also includes supporting teachers in pedagogical assessments, developing action plans, and contributing to the mapping of mathematical difficulties as well as reading and writing difficulties. You are part of the school's student health team.
Promoting an accessible learning environment and applying differentiated teaching are a natural part of your work as a teacher. In addition, you are responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and evaluating pedagogical work in accordance with the school's governing documents as well as the students' needs and interests.

Basic requirements for the position:
- Licensed teacher with special educator education.
- Experience working with special pedagogical interventions.
- Strong ability to plan, implement, follow up, and document both support interventions and students' knowledge development.
- Very good oral and written skills in Swedish.
- Well-versed in the school's governing documents and able to translate them into practice.
Personal qualities:
You are confident and clear in your leadership role, have good communication skills, and are skilled at building relationships. Teamwork, flexibility, and a solution-focused approach are crucial, as is the ability to work independently. You have a clear value system where all people are seen as equally valuable. Your view of students is based on the belief that all children want and can succeed with the right support. You are proactive and collaborate with others to create a positive and developmental climate among both students and staff.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Experience using digital tools (these are a natural part of our operations).
- Experience teaching multilingual students.
