We are now looking for three procurement specialists who want to take an important role in developing sustainable and value-creating purchasing. Job Responsibilities

As a procurement specialist in the Business Unit, you play a central role in ensuring that the administration's procurements are carried out professionally, legally secure, and in line with current legislation. You will work closely with operations and contribute to creating good business deals that provide value for both the organization and the residents of Malmö.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, execute, and follow up on procurements with a focus on quality, sustainability, and operational benefit,
• Be responsible for the entire procurement process and act as the main contact person for both the responsible operations and potential suppliers,
• Work closely with responsible operations from needs analysis to contract signing,
• Collaborate with colleagues in different competence areas to ensure efficient and appropriate procurements,
• Follow up on contracts and take an active ombudsman role during contract implementation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university degree or university college degree in purchasing, procurement, economics, or law. If you have additional education with a technical focus – preferably within the infrastructure area – this is an advantage.

You have at least three years of experience independently conducting procurements, preferably within the framework of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) in roles such as buyer, procurement specialist, contracting engineer, or similar.

It is an advantage if you have

• knowledge of and experience with ABK09, AB04, ABT06, and AMA,
• experience in negotiations, contract writing, or contract follow-up,
• experience as an ombudsman during contract implementation,
• experience with procurements related to the contracting area,
• relevant experience from the construction industry is an advantage,

The position requires knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU). Having very good knowledge is an advantage. It is also important that you master Swedish in both speech and writing in a correct and fluent manner.

The Business Unit coordinates and carries out procurements and contracts for the public sector as part of the finance department at the Property and Street Office. We specialize in the purchase of technical consulting services, services for the city's events, as well as operation and infrastructure contracts.
