Andénska Gymnasium is a new upper secondary school that started in the autumn of 2025, focusing on international business and relationships. We are now looking for an engaged and driven special educator who wants to help build and develop the school's student health services from the ground up.
Andénska Gymnasium offers the Social Sciences and Economics programs with a unique profile in international business, relationships, and project management. We collaborate closely with the business community and international actors to provide our students with tools such as real-world cases, international experiences, and mentors from the business sector. Job Responsibilities
In your role as a special educator, you will:
- Be a key person in building the school's student health services together with the school leadership and student health team.
- Work promotively and preventively to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Supervise and support teachers in their work with extra adaptations and special support.
- Conduct pedagogical assessments and investigations and contribute to the work with action plans.
- Contribute to developing structures, routines, and working methods for support measures in a growing operation.
- Be a support in the work with differentiation and inclusive teaching.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Are educated as a special educator.
- Have experience in special educational work, preferably at the upper secondary level.
- Have good knowledge of extra adaptations, special support, and pedagogical investigations.
- Have a relational approach and good supervisory skills.
- Want to help build and develop an operation from the ground up.
- Have a strong interest in inclusive learning environments and school development.
- Have an interest in internationalization, project management, and entrepreneurship.
- Are up to date with the GY25 curriculum.
- Collaborate with leadership and colleagues to establish the school's relationships with the business community, international actors, as well as universities and colleges, to provide students with a reality-based education.
