Job Description

Do you want to work closely with a student who needs a secure, stable, and attentive adult by their side throughout the day? We are now looking for an engaged student assistant for our multicultural F3 school, where relationship-building, structure, and clarity are central parts of the teaching.

About the Position

As a student assistant, you work closely with a student who needs support in handling the school's different environments and situations, both in the classroom, during breaks, and at the after-school center. You are present and responsive, with the ability to quickly perceive what is happening around you. The role involves being close to the student throughout the day and actively contributing to safety, focus, and continuity.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a secure and relationship-building person with a good ability to read situations and adapt to the student's needs. You are attentive, flexible, and proactive, and you maintain your calm even when the pace changes. Experience working with children in need of special support is meritorious. You also have an inclusive approach and thrive in a multicultural environment where differences are seen as an asset.

The school works actively with PALS to create a positive, predictable, and safe school environment. The teaching is also permeated by a language-developing approach where you, as a student assistant, become an important part of supporting the student's communication and participation.
