About the Position

We are looking for you who want to work as a teacher in Special Sports, specializing in tennis, at Aspero Idrottsgymnasium in Gothenburg.

The position is 25% and scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.

In addition to your teaching license, an elite coaching education through the Swedish Tennis Association is a requirement.

We are seeking an engaged and development-oriented tennis coach for our NIU (National Program for Elite Sports in Upper Secondary School) operations, responsible for leading and developing players towards a national elite level. The role involves close collaboration with the school, the club, and regional tennis activities to create a professional and long-term development environment for the students.

Our NIU students come from all over the country and represent various tennis clubs. Ullevi TK is the cooperating club for the operation, and the teaching takes place in the club's facilities. All students admitted to NIU Tennis at Aspero are also offered afternoon training together with Ullevi TK's training groups. Therefore, affiliation with and good knowledge of Ullevi TK and its operations are considered meritorious.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• high coaching competence within Swedish tennis
• completed coaching education within the Swedish Tennis Association's education system
• experience in competitive activities at a regional or national level
• experience in player development for youth and elite juniors
• documented experience from club, academy, or development environments
• good ability to collaborate with associations, regional tennis centers, and other actors within tennis development

It is meritorious if you have:

• higher coaching education (HTU) or equivalent
• international coaching certification, for example via ITF
• experience coaching at national and international competitions
• experience from national development programs or elite-preparatory operations
• experience working together with strength and conditioning coaches and other specialist functions
• good knowledge of Ullevi TK and its training and development environment

Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled in advance. Great emphasis will be placed on the applicant's suitability for the position.

About Aspero Idrottsgymnasium Gothenburg

For eleven years, we have been located in the fantastic facilities at Prioritet Serneke Arena in Kviberg, with all that entails for a school focused on sports. Our classrooms are characterized by bright spaces located close to each other. Despite having approximately 260 students, the school still has a strong character of a "small" and cozy school where well-being and study peace are strong, as confirmed in our annual evaluations. At our school, students study the Economics or Social Science program.

About the Company

Aspero Friskolor AB was founded in 2002 in Halmstad. The company has three schools called Aspero Idrottsgymnasium, located in Halmstad, Karlskrona, and Gothenburg. The schools offer the national Economics program with a focus on economics and the Social Science program with a focus on behavior and society. All students combine a sports commitment, at either profile, elite, or NIU level, with their university-preparatory upper secondary studies.
