Are you our new colleague? We are looking for an engaged After-School Center Teacher (Lärare i fritidshem) for Bergagårdsskolan on Hönö!

Do you want to work in an environment where innovation, trust, and relationships are at the center? Bergagårdsskolan is a charming F-3 school (grades 0-3) with 170 students, centrally located on Hönö with proximity to both inspiring nature and good transportation links. This school year, we have put two years of extensive renovation behind us and can now boast beautiful, functional facilities with dedicated home bases for the after-school center students.

We have decorated our group rooms with different themes to stimulate the students' various interests. Our after-school center students have access to an inspiring building room for creativity and construction, as well as a peaceful room with opportunities for reading and relaxation. The after-school center also has access to the cultural school's facilities, as well as the school's sports hall, and our renovated schoolyard invites to a variety of activities.

Your role with us:

As an After-School Center Teacher, you will become a key person in the after-school center's work team. Your main tasks include:

• Planning and following up on teaching based on the curriculum together with your colleagues.
• Actively contributing your ideas and experience to develop the operations.
• Creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians, as we see relational skills as a success factor.
• Supporting and stimulating students' recess activities.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified Primary School Teacher specializing in After-School Centers or an After-School Pedagogue. If you additionally have qualifications in music or art, we see this as an advantage. As a person, you see opportunities instead of obstacles and want to contribute to the school's development work.
