Andénska Gymnasium is a new upper secondary school that started in autumn 2025, focusing on international business and relations. We are now looking for an engaged and driven economics teacher who wants to continue contributing to creating a world-class school.

Andénska Gymnasium offers the Social Science and Economics programmes with a unique profile in international business, relations, and project management. We collaborate closely with the business community and international actors to provide our students with tools such as reality-based cases, international experiences, and mentors from the business world. Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher qualified in the subject of Economics.

As a teacher at Andénska Gymnasium, you will:

Teach on the Social Science and Economics programmes, with a focus on international collaborations with the business community and project management.
Use our unique schedule with longer lesson blocks to create deeper learning.
Create clear goals and provide students with regular, constructive feedback.
Integrate digital tools and work with reality-based cases.
Lead and contribute to developing concepts for our project weeks, where project management is a central part of the teaching.
Actively collaborate with your colleagues to reflect on teaching methods and learning. You are open to evaluating and revising your lesson design to continuously improve results and create the best possible conditions for students to learn, grow, and succeed.

At Andénska Gymnasium, internationalization and collaboration with the business community run as a red thread through the education. You will develop competencies in project management through our partner Projektforum and pass these skills on to the students.

Qualifications

Are a certified upper secondary school teacher in Economics.
Have experience leading and developing Economics and Social Science programmes.
Are interested in internationalization, project management, and entrepreneurship.
Want to contribute to the school's vision, profile, and pedagogical development.
Want to help build routines, structure, and culture from the ground up.
Work inclusively and create an inspiring environment for students and colleagues.
Are up to date with the GY25 curriculum.
Collaborate with the business community, international actors, as well as universities and colleges.
Are motivated by helping to shape a new operation and thinking new thoughts.
