Skälltorpsskolan is a secondary school with approximately 210 students. The school is located at Selma Lagerlöfs torg on Hisingen. Around the school, Selma Stad is growing, bringing many new apartments and a new commercial building. The connections to the school are excellent. A new outdoor environment for the school's students has been created, offering space for both physical activity and plenty of seating areas.

Job Responsibilities

Skälltorpsskolan and Backaskolan are now looking for you, a certified teacher qualified to teach music. The position is a permanent employment with a 60% workload. Together with your work team, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating the teaching. You collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a safe and developmental environment for the students. You also work to create meaningful and inspiring learning situations with a focus on ensuring that all students can succeed based on their prerequisites.

The position involves teaching grades 7-9 at Skälltorpsskolan. The role also includes teaching grade 6 at Backaskolan. All teaching takes place at Skälltorpsskolan, where students from Backaskolan come to attend their classes.

Qualifications

We are looking for you, a certified teacher qualified to teach grades 6-9 in music.

As a person, you are skilled at collaborating with other teachers to achieve goals and build good relationships with students and guardians. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you contribute to a respectful work climate.

You have a developmental focus with the child's best interests in mind. Contributing to others' learning energizes you, and you create the conditions for learning to take place. You seek and identify opportunities to think differently in work-related contexts, which can be implemented in practice and lead to improvements.

The introduction provides you, as a new graduate, with a network of other new graduates and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
