Would you like to become our new vocational teacher for the Electrical Installation and Electronic Technology programs?

Responsibilities

The position involves teaching at the adult education level within the Electrician program and the Electronic Technology program. Both theoretical and practical components are included, and you should be competent in both areas. The duties will also consist of planning, teaching, examinations, grading, and evaluation.

We expect you to take significant personal responsibility and be proactive in structuring your work in the best possible way. You contribute your professional competence within and outside the teaching team. It is important that you have the ability to motivate students in their learning, and that you are positive, curious, receptive, and clear in your communication, while valuing everyone's differences.

You are flexible and see your part of the work as part of a broader perspective where students move on to employment, further studies within adult education, or post-secondary education. You are expected to actively collaborate with other societal actors, such as social services and the Public Employment Service.

Qualifications

• Licensed vocational teacher for current courses in the subjects of Electrical Installation and Electronic Technology.
• You can express yourself well in speech and writing, including within your professional jargon.

Meritorious

• Experience in pedagogical work.
• Experience in property maintenance and gardening, as these programs are also offered by us.

Other

• Interviews are conducted continuously during the application period.
• The position may be filled before the final application deadline.
• A 6-month probationary period may be applied.
• The position is a permanent employment (with a 6-month probationary period) provided you are a qualified teacher.
• We primarily seek you who are qualified, but you who are studying to become a vocational teacher or coming directly from the industry are also welcome to apply.
• The position is a holiday/temporary position.
