About the Department

Mora Family Centre is looking for a midwife interested in working with maternal health care. We can now offer a fixed-term position for one year as one of our colleagues will be studying.

The Family Centre is centrally located in Mora and consists of four areas: maternal health care, child health care, open preschool, and family therapists. In adjacent premises, we have youth health services with the youth clinic as its hub.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include, among other things, follow-up of pregnant women in accordance with the national base program for pregnancy monitoring, counseling and management of contraceptives, STI testing and contact tracing, as well as follow-up visits for newborns. Experienced midwives are of course available on-site.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Registered midwife with prescribing rights within contraception.
