About the Department

We are looking for a nurse for the dermatology clinic at Falu Hospital. Dalarna Dermatology Clinic is a county-wide clinic responsible for dermatological care and STI treatment. In Falun, there is a specialist doctor clinic for skin and STI, as well as a treatment unit. The clinic also has treatment units in Avesta, Borlänge, and Mora.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a licensed nurse for a temporary position, as one of our nurses is on parental leave. We are a small clinic with a positive atmosphere and enjoy our work!

At our clinic, you will work in close collaboration with doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries. At the dermatology clinic, we receive patients with skin diseases and skin tumors requiring specialist care. We perform various treatments, such as light therapy, laser treatment, bath and ointment treatments, as well as wound dressings. We currently have several independent nurse-led clinics and are working to develop existing and new ones.

Additional responsibilities:

• Assist doctors at the clinic and in surgery.
• Telephone advice, primarily for our patients, but also for colleagues in primary care, the municipality, and internally within the region.
• Administrative tasks such as documentation, patient administration, and responding to inquiries via 1177's e-services.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse.

• Previous experience working at a clinic.
• Previous experience as a nurse.

You need to be flexible, confident in your role as a nurse, and have a good attitude towards colleagues and patients.
