About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for Forcit's operations in Gällivare–Pajala. Here, we manufacture and deliver bulk emulsion for open-pit mining. Our operation comprises approximately 30 employees, seven MEMU trucks, and a modern production line. You will be responsible for the maintenance and operational reliability of our MEMU trucks, production equipment, and technical installations related to the manufacturing and delivery of bulk emulsion.
In this role, you will focus on developing our preventive maintenance, working methods, and operational reliability. You have overall responsibility for ensuring that our technical equipment, facilities, and vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current requirements.
The role involves primarily working at the Gällivare plant, but also to some extent in Pajala. Additionally, there are travel opportunities within Sweden. To facilitate this, we consider it an advantage if you live in or near Gällivare.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and perform maintenance on equipment, MEMU trucks, and facilities
Ensure that production and deliveries proceed without interruption
Maintain accurate documentation and report through digital systems
Identify areas for improvement and work proactively with process development
Participate in projects and collaborate with colleagues, operators, the Karlskoga team, and external workshops
Contribute to developing and implementing standardized routines and working methods
Work in an industrial environment with a strong focus on safety and working conditions
About you
We are looking for someone who has
Requirements
Relevant technical education or equivalent experience
Experience in maintenance work, preferably within vehicles or process industry
Experience in independently planning, prioritizing, and carrying out both preventive and corrective maintenance
Good IT skills and experience with digital documentation
Ability to work in a structured manner and adhere to safety requirements
Category B driver's license
Merits
Experience in the heavy vehicle industry
Experience with MEMU and charging equipment
Experience from industrial, mining, or process environments
Category C driver's license
Experience with wheel loaders/counterbalance forklifts
Experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance management systems
Personal qualities
As a person, you are confident in your competence and thrive in a role where you can combine planning, technical work, and problem-solving. You have experience working in or near a production environment and want to be an active part of a team where safety, quality, and development are central, with great opportunities to influence.
