The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic in Norrköping belongs to the Psychiatric Center in Region Östergötland. The clinic's operations are mainly conducted at a cohesive outpatient clinic focusing on interventions for children and young people with moderate to severe mental symptoms as well as neuropsychiatric functional variations. The clinic currently consists of six treatment and assessment teams. The clinic also includes a Children's House and an infant unit. The clinic has approximately 90 employees, with psychologists being the largest professional group.

Job Description

You will work with children and young people with anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders, as well as their families. You will also see patients where medication affects appetite and metabolism. You will also provide support and treatment to children and young people who may be extra sensitive to taste, consistency, and color, and therefore have a limited diet.

We offer you work in a multidisciplinary team where you have close collaboration with other team colleagues in different professions. The clinic has not previously had an employed dietitian, and since this is a new position, there are good opportunities to be involved in shaping the role and collaborating with colleagues at other clinics in the Psychiatric Center. Within our clinic, there are good opportunities for in-depth knowledge through mentoring, teamwork, and internal training. There are also opportunities for personal development and contributing to the development of the clinic's operations.

The position is a full-time position. If you are interested in working with us at a lower percentage, we can discuss this.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered dietitian and preferably have a few years of experience in the profession. Previous experience working in psychiatric operations or with children, young people, and families is meritorious.

You have good communication skills and can work independently and flexibly. The work requires a high ability to independently plan and manage your assignments. We assume that you feel a holistic responsibility and have the ability to assess and prioritize the need for dietitian intervention. As a person, you are stable and adapt easily to different situations, as well as having very good teamwork skills. You have a positive and professional attitude towards your work, where the care of the patient and family is in focus. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
