The ENT Clinic has an outpatient clinic, hearing care, speech therapy, and a secretariat. In total, we have just over 50 employees from various professions. At the University Hospital in Linköping, the ENT Clinic consists of an outpatient clinic, a translation center, speech therapy, hearing care, a ward, and a secretariat with just over 150 employees from various professions.

As an Operations Planner, you play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive the right care at the right time. Job Description

At the ENT Clinic, operations take place at three operating arenas: Vrinnevisjukhuset, Ekoxen in Linköping, and the University Hospital. Your main task is to plan and book for these three operating units. You are the connecting link regarding the overall picture around the patient's operation. In addition, you have close collaboration with the clinic's other operations planners, responsible for filling the operating space for all arenas in Norrköping and Linköping. The work is very independent, and you have your own responsibility. You will work in two systems: the medical record system Cosmic and the operations planning tool Opguide. Furthermore, you will participate in various meetings related to operations planning and have close collaboration with the clinic's surgeons.

Work Group

At the outpatient clinic, nurses, nursing assistants, section leaders, and paramedics work together with the unit manager.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with at least one year of professional experience as a nurse. Experience in surgery and/or operations planning, as well as work in Opguide and Cosmic, is meritorious. You have fluent Swedish skills in both speech and writing.

In the role of Operations Planner, you are expected to collaborate both internally and with external contacts where our operating arenas are located. This means you have a good ability to work together with other people, where you are receptive and communicative in a smooth manner. You take your assignment with great responsibility in a structured way, are meticulous, and maintain high quality standards. It is also important that you organize and prioritize your tasks efficiently. We ensure that the work meets set timeframes.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability as we are a group with good cohesion and great flexibility towards each other. Flexibility here means being able to adapt to the current situation and change focus, which is crucial when unpredictable events occur.
