We are now looking for an experienced consultant physician in neurointervention who wants to take a leading role in the development of future neurointerventional operations at Linköping University Hospital. The role of section leader physician involves an opportunity to develop the operations in the long term.
We want to employ you as a knowledge carrier and driving force in neurointervention at the Department of Radiology, Linköping University Hospital, where you will have an important role in shaping the future of neurointervention within the South East Sweden Healthcare Region.

Job Description
As a consultant physician in neurointervention, you work in a cross-professional and team-based manner in close collaboration with other specialties such as neurology, neurosurgery and neuroradiology.
The position offers a unique opportunity to help build and shape the future of neurointervention within the South East Sweden Healthcare Region. As a university hospital, we offer an stimulating academic environment with close links between clinical operations, research, education and development.
There are good opportunities to combine clinical work with research, teaching and development work. The university hospital and the established research infrastructure provide good conditions for developing own research ideas and academic collaborations. As section leader physician in neurointervention, you have a central role in leading the construction and long-term development of the operations. The position offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of neurointervention within the South East Sweden Healthcare Region, with great influence over the operations' direction, working methods and development.
The assignment involves medical leadership for the entire neurointerventional operations and strategic development work in close collaboration with the operations manager, colleagues and other professions.
Work Group
Neurointervention is an operation that is under construction and this gives good opportunities for you as a consultant physician and section leader to take a clear and long-term role in the operations – clinically, strategically and as a mentor and knowledge resource.
About You
You are fully trained as a neurointerventionist with extensive experience and skill in diagnosing and treating neurointerventional conditions. You also have a widely recognized ability to supervise younger colleagues in the field. You have an interest in education and research and are happy to act as a support and knowledge resource for colleagues and other professions.
As you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues and other operations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
As a person, you are sensitive, clear in your communication and have an easy time collaborating. You are happy to share your knowledge and contribute actively to a good work climate. You have a positive attitude, see opportunities in change and take responsibility for your work with engagement and a holistic perspective.
