We at Attendo are now looking for assistant nurses for Hagalund, a residential home for the elderly with 48 places specializing in somatic care and dementia.

The facility is centrally located and operated by Attendo on behalf of Linköping Municipality. In addition to the operations manager and deputy operations manager, the team includes nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, assistant nurses, and care assistants.

About the role

As an assistant nurse here, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our residents. You are responsible for providing good care and support. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during mealtimes is a major part of your role, as is contributing to activities that enrich the daily lives of our elderly residents.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Personal care according to the facility's routines, based on the resident's individual needs and wishes.
• Assisting with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., as needed.
• Performing documentation and working based on approved care plans.
• Collaborating with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Assistant nurse education of at least 1350 credits.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as an assistant nurse.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
• Good computer skills.

Meritorious:

• Experience from care work in elderly care.
• Experience with delegation.
