Welcome to Vadstena Health Centre and Marieberg Health Centre, which have formed a joint operational area since April 2025. This change aims to create a robust operation that is prepared to meet the demographic challenges we face in the future.

The operations currently have a combined total of approximately 16,000 registered patients and a staff of around 65 employees.

Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, four emergency clinics, Finspång Health Centre, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177, and the General Practice Education Centre. Job Description

We are looking for a nurse or district nurse for our nurse-led clinic in Vadstena. Here, there is great variation in the patient population and a clear rural perspective. You will work with telephone advice and standard clinic duties. Supervising students is also an important part of the job, as is engagement in the health centre's development and quality work.

About You

We are looking for a registered nurse for a fixed-term position of at least one year. District nurse education or other education or experience within primary care is meritorious but not a requirement.

As you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You have good teamwork skills, communicate, listen, and resolve obstacles in a constructive manner. You feel confident in your professional role and adapt easily to new situations, seeing opportunities in change. Furthermore, you plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. You have a positive attitude towards your work and act in accordance with decisions, policies, and guidelines. We place great importance on personal qualities, where collaboration and good treatment of patients and colleagues are important to us.
