Here, you work closely with care recipients and colleagues in a operation focused on creating a safe and functional daily life based on each individual's needs.

The position is primarily located within Southern Home Care in Rönnäng, where you work independently in the care recipients' homes with a varied daily content. As part of the role, when needed, it also includes collaboration with other units within elderly care on Tjörn.

Job Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant (Undersköterska), you support care recipients in their daily lives based on individual needs. In our teams, we work closely together and share responsibility, giving you the opportunity to contribute, develop, and take on internal areas of responsibility beyond your role as a Care Assistant.

We welcome both those with long experience and those who are new to the profession. Here, you will receive induction, support, and good opportunities to develop in your role.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Providing care and services according to the implementation plan
• Supporting and activating care recipients in daily life
• Working with daily rehabilitation and personal care
• Social documentation and drawing up implementation plans
• Collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and managers
• Working both independently and in teams

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Education from a healthcare/care program or other education/experience considered equivalent
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Basic digital competence
• Take responsibility and have the ability to work independently
• Treat others with respect, warmth, and sensitivity
• Have Bank-ID (Swedish electronic ID)
• Hold a B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have experience working in elderly care or home care, as well as knowledge of IBIC, BPSD, or low-affective handling. It is also an advantage if you have experience with documentation and quality work, as well as competence in dementia or psychiatry.

As a person, you are flexible and self-assured, a team player who thrives in collaboration but can also work independently.

Criminal Record Check

Tjörn Municipality requests a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (belastningsregister) in connection with this recruitment. Work in the home with elderly people and persons with disabilities.

Visit the police website to request a certificate from the criminal record. This can be done digitally with an e-ID or by filling out a form. Note that processing time can be up to two weeks, so order the certificate in good time.
