About the Role

We are looking for a secure, engaged, and positive personal assistant for a young woman in Getinge. She lives with her family and needs support in her daily life to live an active, secure, and meaningful life. This role is perfect for you if you have a genuine interest in working with people, possess patience, warmth, and a natural ability to create security in interactions with others.

Your Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you will be a key support in both daily routines and various activities. You will help her with hygiene, dressing, and light cooking, and provide support in structure, communication, and social interaction.

She enjoys being outdoors and appreciates activities such as walks, play, and outdoor time in different environments. She also likes creative and playful activities like crafting, makeup, and nail painting, but requires calmness and clarity in daily life. To thrive in this role, you must be able to adapt to her daily mood and combine calmness with playful energy.

Situations can sometimes be challenging, making it important that you are confident in yourself, clear in your approach, and have a low-affective, solution-focused work style. You need to be able to build trust, collaborate with the family, and take initiative when needed. Experience working with children or individuals with special needs and low-affective handling is advantageous, but the most important factors are your personality and attitude.

Knowledge of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) or AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus.

Employment Terms

The position involves working in the home and in the local area, sometimes together with the family and sometimes more independently. The work is both meaningful and developmental, offering you the opportunity to make a real difference in another person's life every day.

Working hours are during all waking hours. The client has double assistance during all waking hours. We are looking for someone who wants to work on a fixed schedule:

• Daytime with double assistance: 06:30–19:00 (max 3 day shifts per week).
• Evening/Night with sleeping on-call: 19:00–06:30.

Day and night shifts will be combined in the role.
