Ersta Elderly Care is part of Ersta Diaconal College and currently operates nearly ten elderly care facilities in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a secure and enriching daily life, characterized by activities, community, and good, pleasant meals. At our facilities, everyone should feel at home!

In September 2026, we will take over the operation of the elderly care facility Ferlin in Löten, Uppsala. Ferlin offers 70 apartments spread across four floors. The facility has separate departments for general care, dementia care, and social psychiatry.

About the role

As a nursing assistant, you will collaborate closely with residents, relatives, management, and other care staff. You and your colleagues will plan the workday based on the individual needs and wishes of the residents. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful daily life for those living with us are key parts of the job. We focus on person-centered care, activities, care meals, and designated contact persons.

The position is for 75–85 % of a full-time role.

Your experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• a professional certificate as a nursing assistant (undersköterska) from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• previous experience working in an elderly care facility
• good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• good computer skills

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with people with cognitive impairments and/or within social psychiatry.
