Pajala Municipality is a large (by area) small town located in the land of the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun – Torne Valley, in eastern Norrbotten. The Home Care Services are based in our centrally located premises in beautiful Junosuando. We are a small team that uses a preference schedule, giving you excellent opportunities to adapt your working hours to family life and leisure time.
As two of our colleagues will be on parental and study leave respectively, we are now looking for two temporary staff members. There are good opportunities for extension.

Job Responsibilities
Personal care, social care, service efforts, and documentation.
You work to provide our care recipients with a secure, dignified, and meaningful daily life in their own homes.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a nursing assistant degree, or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent.
A valid Category B driver's license is a requirement.
Employment Terms
- Type of Employment: Fixed-term employment.
- Duration: 3–6 months.
- Start Date: According to agreement.
- End Date: 2026-12-31.

For some positions in Pajala Municipality, legislation requires the presentation of a valid extract from the criminal and/or suspicion register prior to employment.
Pajala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting. This means that the salary is set based on the current collective agreement – general provisions including appendices – as well as the municipality's salary policy. Upon new employment, an individual assessment of the salary is made based on the requirements of the position. The lowest entry salary is 23,638 SEK. For employees with vocational preparatory upper secondary education, the entry salary is 25,798 SEK.
Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, so knowledge of one or both of these languages is an advantage.
