Health Care Assistants Needed for Elderly Care in Övertorneå

Övertorneå Municipality is seeking health care assistants for our elderly care home, Särkivaaragården, located in central Övertorneå. We offer both permanent positions and longer-term temporary assignments with day, evening, and weekend shifts. Start date according to agreement. Probationary employment may apply.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with education in the Care and Nursing Program or other education or experience within care and nursing that the employer deems relevant for the tasks.

You are receptive and empathetic in your interactions and have good collaboration skills. You take responsibility and initiative based on your professional role and within given frameworks.

You can express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish, which is our working language. As we are the administrative municipality for Finnish and Meänkieli, it is an advantage if you also speak any of these languages.

The work requires digital documentation, so experience working with digital tools is an advantage. A Class B driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement.
