Description

The Gyn Clinic Sahlgrenska is a highly specialized clinic with several NHV assignments within the area of Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine. We receive patients for investigation, treatment, and follow-up within several gynecological specialist areas, including endometriosis, second opinion ultrasound, cervical dysplasia (CDV), as well as women who have been subjected to sexual violence or abuse.

The operations also include clinic-based surgical procedures and treatments, contributing to a varied and developing work environment. Midwives, gynecologists, and nursing assistants work in close collaboration with the patient in focus. The operations are characterized by high medical competence, a good work climate, and continuous development work in care, research, and education.

Job Description

As a midwife here, you work independently with, among other things, your own clinic where you plan and are responsible for your patient bookings. At the same time, you are part of an experienced and engaged midwife team with close collaboration and continuous knowledge exchange.

The work is varied and includes clinic work within the operations' various subspecialties, counseling via 1177, handling of referrals and test results. Working with patient information and assisting in clinic surgeries and other gynecological procedures are further examples of common tasks. Depending on the operation's needs, you will work within several of the clinic's specialist areas, providing a broad and developing role with good opportunities for competence development.

The position offers an stimulating combination of independent patient work, teamwork, and participation in highly specialized gynecological care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife. Experience working in gynecological outpatient care is meritorious. Experience working with CDV is particularly meritorious.

You have a patient-centered approach and see good treatment as a natural part of care. You are confident in your professional role, take responsibility for your work, and have good ability to plan and organize your tasks.

We value good cooperation skills and are looking for you who contribute to a positive work climate and safe care through close collaboration with colleagues and other professions.
