About the Role

Do you want to work in a role where you can use your specialist competence while simultaneously contributing to the development of high-quality care and social services? We are now looking for a Specialist Nurse Assistant who wants to contribute to safe, secure, and person-centered care.

As a Specialist Nurse Assistant, you base your work on the national values for elderly care and contribute with your advanced knowledge in the field of dementia or elderly people with multiple chronic conditions. Through a person-centered approach, you create conditions for increased security, safety, and quality of life for the individual.

In this role, you work closely with the unit manager and are responsible for planning, driving, and developing work within your specialist area, both at the unit level and in collaboration with other operations. The role is new at the unit, which means that content and working methods will develop over time. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to be involved in shaping parts of the assignment and developing how specialist competence is used in the operations.

You play an important function in the operations, among other things supporting colleagues through supervision and knowledge sharing. The position also involves handling complex cases. You work with documentation according to HSL (Health and Medical Services Act) and SoL (Social Services Act), implementation plans, deviation management, and systematic improvement work.

As a Specialist Nurse Assistant, you are a key knowledge bearer in the operations. You help introduce new employees, supervise students, and contribute to development initiatives, quality work, and improved working methods within your specialist area.

The assignment is combined with routine nurse assistant duties and involves close collaboration with colleagues, relatives, and other professions. You actively contribute to a positive, inclusive, and developing work environment. As a Specialist Nurse Assistant, you will work a regular schedule, which means every other weekend with shared shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a Specialist Nurse Assistant with at least 200 higher vocational education credits (YH) within dementia or elderly people with multiple chronic conditions. You have a professional certificate as a nurse assistant, experience from specialized housing, and good digital competence.

To succeed in the assignment, you are confident in your professional role and have the ability to use your specialist competence to guide others. You are responsible, structured, and proactive while being flexible and having a good ability to collaborate. We also see that you have a strong interest in development and improvement work and want to contribute to care and social services with high quality. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
