About the role

As a Train Technician, you will become part of a cohesive team working with the repair, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of trams. The work is varied, and you will work broadly with mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity in a daily routine that includes both simpler service tasks and more advanced technical challenges. The role also involves handling and closing work orders in the system and ensuring that completed work is reported correctly.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a technical interest who enjoys tinkering, troubleshooting, and finding solutions. If you have a technical background and experience with tools and mechanics, this is a great advantage, as is the ability to read and understand technical documentation. At the same time, we value your willingness to develop and grow together with us at EuroMaint.

To thrive in this role, you are unpretentious, meticulous, and have strong problem-solving skills. You have a high focus on safety and always prioritize quality over quantity. Since the work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with colleagues, it is important that you are communicative and value good teamwork.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as good physical fitness.

Qualifications that would be considered an advantage for the position include knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

• Knowledge of electricity and/or automation
• Vehicle mechanics
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Mechatronics or experience as an industrial electrician
• Interpreting and applying technical diagrams and drawings

Scope: Full-time
Start date: According to agreement
Working hours: Night shifts; 7 nights on, 7 days off
Employment type: Fixed-term contract for 1.5 years with a possible option for permanent employment
