The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority exercises for children, young people, families, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Unit Description:
Here, we implement decisions regarding contact persons, short-term foster families, escort services, and respite services according to LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and SoL (Social Services Act) for people with various disabilities.
About the Assignment:
Are you an empathetic and engaged person who wants to make a difference in someone else's life? We are now looking for contact persons, respite workers, and escorts. The positions are part-time, and we handle applications continuously, so don't hesitate to send in your CV and cover letter today!
About the Positions:
Contact Person
As a contact person, you are a social support and a friend. You meet and do something together, such as walking, having coffee, going to the cinema, or just talking. Usually, you meet 2-3 times per month during daytime, evenings, or weekends, totaling max 10 hours.
Respite Worker
As a respite worker, you are an important resource for families with children who have special needs. You help out in the evenings and/or on weekends, which gives parents the opportunity to rest, engage in their own activities, or spend time with siblings. Respite care takes place in the child's home or in the immediate vicinity of the home.
Escort
As an escort, you give a young person or adult the opportunity to participate in leisure activities, cultural life, or meet friends. You accompany them to activities that usually take place in the evenings and on weekends. Your presence makes it possible for the person to participate in activities that would otherwise be difficult to carry out alone.
Employment Conditions:
For respite workers and escorts: Fixed-term hourly employment, typically around 10-25 hours per month.
For contact persons: Fixed monthly compensation consisting of remuneration and expense allowance according to SKR. A valid extract from the police criminal record (LSS) is a requirement for employment. You must be 18 years or older.
Your Profile:
We are looking for you who have experience or a strong interest in working with people with disabilities. You are an engaged and active person who enjoys finding meaningful activities and making a difference in other people's lives. We would like you to be sensitive, flexible, and structured in your work approach, and able to adapt to the individual's needs and wishes. We also expect you to master the Swedish language in speech and writing. Personal suitability is of great importance to us.
