Do you want to help shape our work with family-oriented residential support based on new opportunities provided by the new Social Services Act?

Our mission is to create conditions for an independent and meaningful life, focusing on the individual's needs and resources. As a residential support worker within family-oriented residential support (FOBS), you work closely with families, adopting a holistic perspective on the entire family's needs with the goal of strengthening the individual. The intervention targets families where one or both adults have some form of mental illness or neuropsychiatric functional variation, aiming to support the families toward increased daily functioning based on the individual's capabilities.

You base your work on each family member's individual implementation plan, while maintaining a holistic perspective on the entire family's needs and resources. The work involves a combination of pedagogical, motivational, practical support, and sometimes compensatory work in the family's daily life. You contribute to creating structure, strengthening parenting skills, and promoting a secure and functioning family life.

The role includes supervision and regular competence development as support in your professional work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have at least a two-year social pedagogical education or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working with mental illness as well as experience with neuropsychiatric functional variations. Experience working with families and children is meritorious.

The job requires that you can work independently, make decisions, and act in a structured and flexible manner in complex situations. You are accustomed to collaborating with other actors and have experience planning and structuring your work independently. You contribute to a good and positive work environment through your genuine interest and engagement in the work. Personal suitability is highly valued.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are familiar with current legislation and documentation requirements in the field.

You will be scheduled Monday-Friday 8-17, with flexibility options. However, we expect you to plan your working hours to ensure that the families' need for support during early mornings, evenings, and weekends is met.
