We are now looking for you who, together with the association's members, want to lead the association forward in its development, both with the public program and the association's heart – the studios. You are the spider in the web and have many balls in the air at the same time. The work is carried out in collaboration with our members, other staff, and you work on behalf of the board, in a creative and international context.
Main Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for long-term planning, coordination, development, and financing of the association.
- Work for an open and accessible platform and activity for visitors, cultural practitioners, and partners.
- Join the coordination group with delegated personnel responsibility in daily work.
Tasks
- Coordinate the overall programming for Konstepidemin's public activities.
- Responsible for the association's operational planning and compiling the annual report and operational plan.
- Develop forms of cooperation and projects for public activities and members' initiatives.
- Receive and follow up on requests for collaborations and co-arrangements.
- Strategic networking to promote the development of activities locally, nationally, and internationally.
- Work strategically with economics and budgeting in collaboration with the economic coordinator.
- Responsible for applications for operational and project grants overarching the association.
- Authorize ongoing payments, including salaries.
- Prepare materials and report to and from the board and Konstepidemin's Artistic Council.
- Maintain and develop policy documents continuously.
- Support colleagues in their tasks, work for a good working environment, and conduct employee interviews.
Competencies
- Relevant university education or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience in project management or similar, within the cultural field is meritorious.
- Good knowledge of the art and cultural field. Knowledge of cultural policy is meritorious.
- Basic knowledge or experience in personnel-related issues.
- Basic knowledge or experience in budgeting and financial follow-up.
- Experience working in civil society, preferably within a member-led or non-profit organization.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
