We are looking for you who have experience working in a newspaper newsroom and are passionate about local journalism. You will work at our local newsroom in Töreboda.

About the role:

We now have a vacancy for a local editor as our reporter in Töreboda retires. We cover the local news flow in Mariestad, Töreboda, and Gullspång/Hova, which is an area where many of our subscribers live.

Do you want to tell about what no one else knows? Do you wish to dig a little deeper? Are you passionate about finding new angles that also attract younger readers? Are you interested in municipal democracy and the political game? Then this job is for you.

News work is important, but we also want to offer our readers features and in-depth stories.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is flexible and has the ability to work both quickly and with long-term perspective. You are accustomed to working independently.

You have:

  • Journalistic education and experience from journalistic work
  • A good command of language and the ability to express yourself in both text and image
  • Experience from digital news work
  • Category B driver's license
